Study in France from Azerbaijan: visa, fees and grants

Azerbaijan belongs to the 75 countries and territories of the Études en France procedure, so candidates residing there file their applications on the platform run with Campus France Azerbaijan and then request the long-stay student visa required for non-EU nationals. Registration fees are differentiated for non-EU newcomers, 2,902 euros a year in licence and 3,950 euros in master for 2026-2027, with possible exemptions, while doctoral students pay 398 euros and everyone pays the 105-euro CVEC contribution. The French Embassy in Azerbaijan grants France Excellence scholarships, a selective one-year award of 900 euros a month with social benefits including tuition waiver, and the Eiffel programme offers 1,200 euros a month for two years to laureates. Campus France Azerbaijan details these options on its scholarships page.
