Study in France from Egypt: procedure, visa and grants
Egypt is on the Campus France list of countries covered by the Etudes en France procedure, and residents apply to French institutions through that platform, with a Campus France office in Cairo. Once admitted, non-EU nationals need the long-stay student visa, the VLS-TS, which doubles as a residence permit and is validated online after arrival. Public universities apply differentiated tuition to non-EU students, 2,902 euros a year in licence and 3,950 euros in master unless an exemption is granted, while doctorates pay 398 euros. Campus France Egypt publishes a page on scholarships for Egyptian students, and the French government scholarships listed by France Diplomatie are open to international candidates.
