Study in France from Georgia: visa, fees and scholarships
Georgia is one of the 75 countries and territories concerned by the Études en France procedure: candidates residing in Georgia file their applications on the platform, follow the process with Campus France Georgia at the Institut français in Tbilisi, then apply for the long-stay student visa (VLS-TS) required for non-EU nationals. Non-EU newcomers pay differentiated registration fees, 2,902 euros a year in licence and 3,950 in master for 2026-2027, with exemptions possible, while doctorates pay 398 euros plus the 105-euro CVEC contribution. The French Embassy in Georgia runs a page dedicated to studying in France that details the procedures and points to Campus France, Erasmus+ and public institutions for grants, alongside the Eiffel programme. Campus France Georgia also advises on language requirements and study projects from its Tbilisi office.
