Study in France from Indonesia: EEF, visa and LPDP funding
Indonesia is one of the 75 countries and territories covered by the Etudes en France procedure, so candidates apply on the platform run by Campus France Indonesia, pay the service fee and complete the pre-consular steps before the visa application. The student visa is a VLS-TS valid for four months to one year, validated online after arrival. Non-EU first-time entrants face differentiated registration fees of 2,902 euros at licence level and 3,950 euros at master level for 2026-2027, against 178 and 255 euros at the national rate, with exemptions in cases such as scholarship holders; doctorates pay 398 euros and the CVEC contribution is 105 euros. Funding is a strong point: the LPDP endowment fund co-finances master and doctoral programmes in France with the French government, and the French embassy through the Institut français d'Indonésie awards France Excellence grants. Campus France Indonesia also publishes a summary of French and Indonesian scholarships for Indonesian students.
