Study in France from North Macedonia: visa and fees
North Macedonia is not an EU member, so its nationals must obtain a long-stay student visa for studies in France. Since the country is not covered by the Études en France list, applications are made directly to French institutions, with information available on the French Embassy in Skopje pages and through Campus France tools. Non-EU newcomers pay differentiated registration fees of 2,902 euros in licence and 3,950 euros in master for 2026-2027, which exemptions can reduce or waive, while doctoral studies are billed at 398 euros; the CVEC contribution is 105 euros. Erasmus+ mobility applies to North Macedonia as a Western Balkans participant, and merit awards such as the Eiffel scholarship can complete the financing.
