Study in France from Myanmar: EEF procedure and visa

Myanmar, listed as Burma, is one of the 75 countries and territories concerned by the Etudes en France procedure, so candidates file their applications on the platform and complete the pre-consular steps before applying for the visa. The student visa is a VLS-TS, valid for four months to one year and validated online within three months of arrival in France. Non-EU first-time entrants pay differentiated registration fees of 2,902 euros at licence level and 3,950 euros at master level for 2026-2027, while the national rates are 178 and 255 euros; exemptions can apply, doctorates pay 398 euros and the CVEC contribution is 105 euros. For funding, the France Excellence Eiffel programme of the French government supports master and doctoral candidates, and the Campus Bourses search engine lists grants open to students residing in Myanmar. The French embassy in Yangon publishes the study and visa information for applicants from Myanmar.
