Study in France from Nigeria: procedure, visa and grants

Nigeria is on the Etudes en France list, so candidates resident in Nigeria apply through the Campus France platform and the Espace Campus France in Lagos and Abuja. Non-EU students then need the long-stay VLS-TS visa, issued after admission and validated online once in France. Public universities apply differentiated tuition to non-EU students, 2,902 euros in licence and 3,950 euros in master for 2026-2027, unless an exemption is granted, while doctorates pay 398 euros. Campus France Nigeria details the French Embassy France Excellence scholarship, and TETFund is the Nigerian agency that funds tertiary education and staff development.
