Study in France from the Philippines: visa and funding

The Philippines does not appear on the list of 75 countries and territories concerned by the Etudes en France procedure, so candidates apply directly to the French institutions of their choice. After admission, they request a long-stay student visa, the VLS-TS, issued for four months to one year and validated online after arrival in France. Non-EU first-time entrants pay differentiated registration fees of 2,902 euros at licence level and 3,950 euros at master level for 2026-2027, unless exempted, against 178 and 255 euros at the national rate; doctorates pay 398 euros and the CVEC contribution is 105 euros. For funding, Campus France Philippines runs the France Excellence Philippines scholarship programme and advertises the France Excellence Eiffel programme for master and doctoral candidates. The French embassy in Manila publishes the visa and study information for applicants based in the Philippines.
