Study in France from Pakistan: EEF, visa and HEC funding

Pakistan is one of the 75 countries and territories covered by the Etudes en France procedure, so candidates apply on the platform managed by Campus France Pakistan and complete the pre-consular steps before requesting the visa. The student visa is a VLS-TS, valid for four months to one year and validated online within three months of arrival in France. Non-EU first-time entrants pay differentiated registration fees of 2,902 euros at licence level and 3,950 euros at master level for 2026-2027, while the national rates are 178 and 255 euros; exemptions can apply, doctorates pay 398 euros and the CVEC contribution is 105 euros. For funding, the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan runs overseas scholarship programmes for study abroad, and Campus France Pakistan publishes the France Excellence Eiffel programme and other French university scholarships. The French embassy in Islamabad and the consulates handle the visa steps for Pakistani applicants.
