Study in France from Rwanda: procedure and VLS-TS visa
Rwanda is on the Campus France list of countries covered by the Etudes en France procedure, with applications filed online and supported by the Espace Campus France in Kigali. After admission, non-EU students must obtain the long-stay VLS-TS student visa and validate it online after arrival. Public universities charge non-EU students differentiated tuition, 2,902 euros in licence and 3,950 euros in master for 2026-2027, unless an exemption is granted, while doctorates pay 398 euros. Campus France Rwanda explains each application step, funding leads include Erasmus+ mobility and the French government scholarships listed by France Diplomatie, and the Higher Education Council and the Ministry of Education regulate the sector at home.
